Dreams
Maybe Disney should be censored,
For giving children false expectations of romance,
Maybe dreams of knights in shining armour
Should be scolded.
Maybe everyone has that fatal flaw,
Everyone a tragic hero.
Each having a victim.
An unfortunate victim,
Too tied up in the plot to react
And rip up the script.
Maybe all children should be told that
Humans are nor perfect.
We all hurt.
And injure.
And shatter dreams

I hurt alot when i wrote this. I had just discovered I had been lied to by someone i love more than anything.
A year later and i have learnt that Dreams do come true and that we have to hurt a little in order to appreciate happiness |
